Emergency Department Boarding Stories

"We have consistently had boarders for two years now. We had some overflow areas to send patients to that were staffed with traveler nurses. We still often had 20 boarders. Those are shutting down due to the high costs associated with travelers. We have had up to 50 patients boarding at a time."
