Rooms no bigger than closets

"We are a >900 bed hospital with boarding since last summer, daily from 25-70. One whole section of our ED is dedicated to boarding patients. We are seeing ambulatory patient in rooms no bigger than closets. Delays for our waiting patient have increased in the five to ten hours range routinely. Some trauma patients are being seem in ambulatory area. Procedures like laceration repair are being done in hallways and behind folding walls."
