Snapshot

"Today’s 8am system snapshot: We have three EDs with beds of 75 (45 staffed), 42, 11 respectively. Today we have:

11 boarders, ranging from 5.5 to 18.5 hours
14 boarders, ranging from 2 to 19.5 hours
2 boarders, ranging 5.5 to 10 hours.

Today is a Friday, when there is usually less boarding. Friday follows only Saturday for least boarding. We have had more than 50 patients boarding at our 75 bed campus during the past month with several patients boarded for greater than 24 hours."
