Spit and bit

We have a chronically violent woman who regularly comes to the ED. She stays a couple days, get discharged, and returns a couple days later.

She spit in my face and bit one of our security guards. Police were called multiple times. Law enforcement refused to prosecute or arrest this woman.

I was interviewing a patient when he suddenly jumped out of the bed and started to strangle me.

"I'll shoot everyone here"

One of the patients who routinely visits the ED said, “I’m gonna shoot everyone working today.”

The ACEP offices will be closed for several upcoming holidays
