Broken bones and bleeding

A colleague of mine has had a chair thrown at him that struck him in the head.

I know a caregiver in the ED who was attacked and had their fibula broken. At a nearby hospital, a nurse was attacked and suffered a subdural hematoma (bleeding between the brain and skull). Multiple staff have been spit on. The hospital did essentially nothing in each of these cases.

Attacking staff while boarding

Punched while checking vital signs

An angry patient in the waiting room punched my EMT taking their vitals.
