Completely swept under the rug

Our security team is excellent but even with 5-10 security guards present, patients can say or do whatever they want and people get hurt.

I have not been contacted by my institution about any of these encounters. Violence in the emergency department has become completely normalized and swept under the rug as part of the gig.
