Our Washington D.C. Team
The Advocacy/Practice Affairs Division is located in Washington, D.C.. Its primary responsibility is for ACEP’s federal legislative and regulatory advocacy agenda and support for that work from the 911 Legislative Grassroots Network and ACEP’s political action committee, NEMPAC (National Emergency Medicine Political Action Committee). The division also leads development and implementation of ACEP’s strategic plan, Reimbursement, and State Legislation; and is the principal liaison to the Emergency Medicine Policy Institute (EMPI). ACEP also has members of its Communications Division based in Washington, DC.
