Thanking Your Emergency Medicine Team

During this crisis, teamwork in the emergency department is more important than ever. There are so many teammates showing up every day, risking their own health to make sure the ED is ready to help the most vulnerable.

We want to thank our housekeeping teams that are performing an absolutely essential job that keeps our nation's emergency departments running as efficiently as possible during this influx of COVID-19 patients. They are working to provide a safe space for our patients and for all of us.

We want to thank our clerks and administrators, who are the first faces our patients see when they come to the ED. Their efforts to collect patient information and connect with families is even more important during times of crisis.

We want to thank our nurses, who stand beside us on the frontlines, through the worst of te worst, and are an indispensable part of our team.

We encourage you to have your EM teammates sign a quick note of thanks to show them their efforts and sacrifice are not going unnoticed.

Below are thank you notes and printable signs you can download. Write a note, hang a sign - or both! Every person on the team is important, and we're all going to get through this together.
