Tara Morrison, CAE, CMP, has been in association management for more than 25 years and has specific expertise in the management of medical associations, conference planning, and continuing medical education. She is President and CEO of Association Management Executives, Inc., a company she established in 2001 which represents professional medical associations and serves the needs of small to medium-sized medical associations needing professional staff.
Since that time, AME, Inc., has grown from one staff person to 15 and services clients with membership as small as 200 and as large as 3,000. Prior to starting AME, Inc., Ms. Morrison worked for the Medical Association of Georgia in their specialty society staffing department. She has been Executive Director of the Georgia College of Emergency Physicians for more than 23 years and Executive Director of the South Carolina College of Emergency Physicians for seven years.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University with a major in Human and Organizational Development. She holds both the Certified Association Executive (CAE) and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designations. An Atlanta native, Ms. Morrison is married with two daughters. She enjoys power walking with friends, listening to a good audiobook, playing guitar, reading and spending time at the lake with her family and friends.

The Diane K. Bollman Chapter Advocate Award is presented to a current or recent (within the past 12 months) ACEP chapter executive or chapter staff member who has made a significant contribution to advancing emergency care and the objectives of an ACEP chapter and the College.
