To be accepted, abstracts must be judged to be scientifically valid and yielding important information which is likely to ultimately affect patient care. Abstracts submitted, or the resultant manuscripts, must not appear in published form prior to release of the meeting abstracts in the September 2025 issue of Annals of Emergency Medicine. Case reports or subject reviews are not considered original research.

The highest ranked abstracts are selected as oral presentations in selected Plenary Sessions. Each presenter is allotted 8 minutes to present their work. These sessions are moderated, and time is reserved at the conclusion of each presentation for audience questions and discussion.

Poster Presentation Sessions
These sessions will feature abstracts displayed on posters where attendees and presenters will have interactive discussions in a one hour moderated session.

The poster gallery sessions feature selected medical student and resident research.
