ACEP Chapters

Advancing emergency care through engagement at the local level

Chapters are independently incorporated and advocate for the rights of physicians and their patients to ensure the delivery of the highest quality emergency care. Chapters also provide a wide range of activities including educational meetings, networking and social events, leadership development, state legislative lobbying, public relations, and member services.

ACEP has 53 chapters – one in each state plus three additional chapters for Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and government services. Learn more about the relationship between Chapters and ACEP.
