
Dr. Tanisha Arora is a board-certified emergency physician and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP). She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Upstate College of Medicine and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Dr Arora also recently completed her Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
For more than 15 years, Dr. Arora has practiced community emergency medicine in New Jersey, where she is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care while fostering collaboration among physicians, nurses, EMS professionals, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Dr. Arora has been an active member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (NJACEP) for more than a decade. Throughout her service, she has held multiple leadership positions, culminating in her election as President. In this role, she is dedicated to strengthening physician engagement, advancing advocacy on behalf of emergency physicians and their patients, expanding educational opportunities, and fostering collaboration with healthcare organizations and policymakers across New Jersey. She is passionate about creating opportunities for physicians to connect, collaborate, and support one another while advocating for the profession at both the state and national levels.
Throughout her career, Dr. Arora has remained committed to advancing the specialty of emergency medicine through teamwork, service, and leadership. Whether caring for patients in the emergency department, leading quality improvement initiatives, or representing emergency physicians through NJACEP, she believes the best outcomes are achieved when diverse teams work together towards a common mission.
