The American College of Emergency Physicians Awards Program has been developed for one reason: to recognize leadership and excellence. The program provides an opportunity to recognize all members for significant professional contributions as well as service to the College. All members of ACEP are eligible to participate in one or more of the College's award programs. The ACEP Awards Program is yours. It succeeds only when you take an active role. The method of entry has been made as easy as possible.

John G. Wiegenstein Leadership Award

Pamela P. Bensen Trailblazer Award

The Pamela P. Bensen Trailblazer Award is presented to a current College member for seminal contributions over time to the growth of the College and to the specialty of emergency medicine.

Honorary Membership Award

The Honorary Membership Award is presented to an individual who has rendered outstanding service to the College or to the specialty of emergency medicine.

Judith E. Tintinalli Award for Outstanding Contribution in Education

The Judith E. Tintinalli Award for Outstanding Contribution in Education is presented to an ACEP member who has made a significant contribution to the educational aspects of the specialty.

EMS Award

The Award for Outstanding Contribution in EMS is presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution in EMS of national significance or application.
