Lead and manage the sales activities of a new sales group, including direct selling to support EMDI’s growth strategy. Proactively identify risks, solve problems, and coordinate efforts across the EMDI team using sound judgment and project management expertise. Utilize diverse sales techniques and CRM tools while operating effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment |
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
Conduct market research to define ideal customer profiles and strategic entry points.
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Build, manage, and report on the sales pipeline.
Collaborate with leadership to set sales targets and KPIs.
Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation through deal closure.
Define sales processes, tools, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with marketing, business development, and membership groups to support lead generation, product positioning, and messaging.
Represent EMDI at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of EMDI products, healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and industry innovations.
Establish and nurture relationships with key healthcare stakeholders (e.g., hospital administrators, medical directors, IT decision-makers).
Understand client pain points and deliver tailored solutions, presentations, product demos, and proposals.
Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle, handling escalations and resolving customer issues promptly.
Provide customer feedback to inform product development and improvements.
Contribute innovative ideas to enhance processes, data acquisition, data quality, and program success.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; Master’s degree (MBA, MHA) preferred but not required.
5–7+ years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry (e.g., SaaS, medical devices, services, or provider networks).
2+ years independently managing complex sales cycles.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Deep understanding of healthcare systems, provider networks, and industry dynamics.
Strong interpersonal skills for building effective client relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise applications (training provided for ACEP systems).
Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
Self-motivated, dependable, and resourceful, with strong initiative and attention to detail.
Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to coach team members and customers.
Experience with front-end and back-end processes of CEDR for customer-focused outcomes.
May have access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Must complete HIPAA training and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.
Attend meetings and events as assigned; some travel required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
