E-QUAL Substance Use Disorder Initiative
E-QUAL is a FREE & minimal-burden learning collaborative aimed to promote and improve quality improvement at Emergency Departments. The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Initiative is aimed at improving the care of patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD) in the emergency department. The initiative focuses on implementing evidence-based practices, such as initiating medications for addiction treatment, improving screening and referral processes, and reducing stigma associated with substance use disorders.
