Clinical Update on NOAC Safety and Reversal

Dr. Charles V. Pollack, MD, FACEP, FAAEM, the Associate Provost for Innovation in Education and Professor and Senior Advisor for Interdisciplinary Research and Clinical Trials, Department of Emergency Medicine, Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, presents a timely, clinical discussion of recent updates on reversal agents.

The American College of Emergency Physicians developed and presented this important program which is now archived for your use. The webinar will provide you with a clinical update on novel oral anticoagulants (NOACs). It provides important clinical information about NOAC safety and the management of bleeding concerns and complications with their use. The discussion includes both the general ED approach and the appropriate use of the first approved specific reversal agent.
