The Connecticut College of Emergency Physicians (CCEP) launched a public dashboard to help health care workers, policymakers, and patients track ED capacity levels and wait times statewide.
Powered by an ACEP grant, the dashboard will “bring visibility to this growing crisis and support the push for solutions,” CCEP said in a January news release.
In 2023, CCEP advocacy helped make Connecticut the first state with legislation requiring hospitals to report ED boarding data.
ACEP and state chapters across the country are leading the push for real solutions to the boarding crisis at every level.
