Being an emergency physician is hard. In fact, it has never been harder. Emergency medicine is again the leader in the highest percentage of physicians experiencing burnout. And yet when emergency physicians talk about the job, they still use terms like a calling or a profession.

The ACEP Young Physician Section and the Exploring Retirement Section invite you to an open, honest panel discussion on where emergency medicine has been, where we are now, and where we are headed. We hope you will find the conversation both informative and practical, with take home strategies on how you can help turn the EM supertanker before it ends up on the rocks. Attendees will have opportunities to ask questions throughout, with a dedicated 30-minute Q and A at the end.

Moderator: Alison Haddock, MD, FACEP, ACEP Immediate Past President
