Public Health Committee

The Public Health Committee works to examine and analyze the role of emergency medicine in public health, and to make recommendations to the Board regarding this role in such areas as health promotion, prevention and management of infectious diseases, and the prevention and control of violence and injuries. They are working on a diverse array of objective ranging from policy statements related to firearms, reproductive health services and climate change, as well as development of recourses such as information papers on smart phrases.
