Christina DiStefano

Ms. DiStefano is the Director of Emergency Services at NYU Langone Health. She provides administrative oversight for the Emergency Department, Observation/Short Stay Unit and ED Follow-up & Care Transition Center.

She also manages several ambulatory departments, including the COVID-19 Monoclonal Antibody Therapy program as well as the Pulmonary Function Testing Laboratory. Ms. DiStefano has extensive hospital operations, project management and data analytics experience. Large-scale projects she has led include the expansion of 911 EMS services in New York City and Long Island, the opening of a fully dedicated Observation Unit and the implementation of a system-wide Advanced Care Planning program.
