Are You a Medical Student Completing an EM Clerkship?
Whether your emergency medicine rotation is on the horizon or you’re currently completing one, the PEER Mock EM Clerkship Exam and Review exposes you to the clinical knowledge you need to succeed in emergency medicine.

The PEER Mock EM Clerkship Exam and Review contains 110 multiple-choice questions that cover essential topics from the Model of the Clinical Practice of Emergency Medicine.
ACEP currently offers two ways to prepare for the EM clerkship or shelf exam:
- Medical students can purchase the stand-alone exam from ACEP Learn and complete it as a self-test and study module; or
- Medical students with access to PEER for Physicians can self-launch the PEER Mock EM Clerkship Exam and Review from the Study Plan or Exams in the left-hand navigation menu.
All questions were hand-selected by the PEER Editors-in-Chief to match the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) Emergency Medicine Subject Exam Content Outline. Plus, the PEER Mock EM Clerkship Exam and Review allows you to review all questions as many times as you want.
In addition, clerkship directors who subscribe to PEER for Programs can assign the PEER Mock EM Clerkship Exam to medical students who want opportunities to study and prepare. Just choose the exam from the menu in PEER BluePrint Curriculums and add it to an assignment. Student performance can then be tracked via PEER Console Analytics.

Welcome to emergency medicine! We hope you’ll choose PEER to support your journey from medical student to practicing emergency physician.
