Christopher S. Kang

MD, FACEP

Dr. Kang is ACEP's President for 2022-23. He is an emergency physician at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) in Tacoma and with Olympia Emergency Physicians, PLLC in Olympia, Washington. At MAMC, he serves on the faculty for its emergency medicine residency program as well as its military emergency medicine physician assistant program. He is passionate about disaster preparedness and response, teaching, and cultivating and advancing leadership in emergency medicine. He was first elected to the ACEP Board of Directors in 2015 and has served as the College's Secretary-Treasurer, Chair of the Board.
