ACEP Leadership & Advocacy Conference

The ACEP Leadership & Advocacy Conference (LAC) brings together more than 350 emergency medicine leaders to develop leadership and advocacy skills and learn the latest legislative and regulatory issues impacting emergency medicine. In addition to skill development, in 2023, ACEP held nearly 300 meetings with legislators and staff from 46 states to discuss:
- Solving the boarding crisis.
- Strengthening protections against ED workplace violence.
- Ensuring annual Medicare payment updates for physicians keep pace with inflation.
