Awards Recognition Activities

Our planning for ACEP21 is in high gear and as you might expect, it has been an evolving, atypical target from the start. Traditionally, we hold a special event to honor our award recipients during the annual meeting. Due to the uncertainty of planning ACEP21 as a hybrid experience, we have made the decision to not hold a formal awards event this year. This decision was based on many factors, including the uncertainty of which individuals would choose to come to Boston and the need to scale back our financial commitments. This year we will honor our prestigious award recipients with signage in a dedicated area of the Boston Convention & Exhibitions Center. If you plan to attend the meeting in Boston, I hope you will take time to stop by and watch a video about each award recipient. The videos will also be featured on the ACEP21 virtual platform. The award recipients are truly special and we will further recognize them during the ACEP21 opening session. Come join the celebration whether you will be there in person or joining from home.
