Katarzyna Gore, MD, FACEP

Katarzyna Gore, MD, FACEP, has served as a section editor for PEERprep for Physicians and PEERprep for Programs since 2021 and as an item author since 2020. Dr. Gore is currently an assistant professor and assistant program director at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Gore earned her doctor of medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. She completed her residency training at Advocate Christ Medical Center and her Residency Administration Fellowship through the Council of Residency Directors (CORD).
In addition to PEER, Dr. Gore has authored publications in Annals of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medicine Reports, and Behavioral and Brain Functions. She has a particular interest in medical education and feedback and has lectured at CORD and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine. In 2014, Dr. Gore was awarded 1st place in Division 1 at the National Emergency Medicine Clinical Pathologic Case Presentation (CPC) Semi-Final Competition.
