Jason Lowe, DO, FACEP, FAAP - Councillor
Dr. Lowe is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at UCSF Fresno, and his Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the University of Florida Jacksonville. In his free time, Dr. Lowe runs a program for high school students interested in emergency medicine. He also likes skateboarding, kickboxing, karaoke, and losing money in the stock market.
Dr. Lowe has served as a past microsite editor, secretary, and chair of the PEM Section for ACEP. He is currently the Section Councilor. His academic interests include telemedicine and 360 virtual reality simulation. Dr. Lowe’s favorite PEM resource is Up To Date.
Duties:
- Shall represent the section at the Council meeting.
- Shall have duties, obligations, and privileges as designated by the Bylaws and procedures adopted by the Council.
- Shall keep the section informed of all Council activities before, during, and between sessions and report to the section, in its newsletter and/or other communication vehicles, all important matters considered.
- Shall bring any resolutions that are developed to the Council from the section.
