Dr. Schwarz is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology Division Chief at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He also directs the inpatient toxicology and addiction medicine consultation service. He was appointed to the Opioid Policy Advisory Committee for Missouri, an ASHP Opioid Task Force, and selected for a National Quality Forum opioid technical expert panel.
