Steven Kailes, MD, MPH, FACEP

Dr. Kailes is an emergency medicine physician and director of governmental relations with Emergency Resources Group in Jacksonville, FL. He served on the ACEP Reimbursement Committee, State Legislative and Regulatory Committee, Clinical Resource Review Committee, and Emergency Department Practice Management Association Joint Task Force on Balance Billing. He was an inaugural fellow in ACEP’s Reimbursement Leadership Development Program. He is past president of the Florida College of Emergency Physicians and currently serves on the chapter’s Governmental Affairs and Medical Economics Committees. Dr. Kailes received his medical degree and a Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in basic surgery and his emergency medicine residency at Naval Medical Center in San Diego.
