Leadership Society

The ACEP Young Physicians Section is now accepting nominations for the third class of the Young Physicians Leadership Society, an annual award program recognizing attending emergency physicians who have demonstrated exceptional leadership within the specialty.

We are looking forward to recognizing the winners during the YPS Meeting at ACEP23 in Philadelphia! Nominations are due Aug. 25.

Criteria

EM attending physician in their first 10 years of practice post-residency
ACEP member in good standing
Demonstrates leadership within the emergency medicine specialty at the chapter or national level

Nomination Process

Honorees of the YP Leadership Society are selected and submitted by their state chapters. Chapters can submit one honorees annually, with a new cohort being selected each year. Once selected, they will be notified of their award by YPS and invited to attend the group recognition during ACEP's annual Scientific Assembly.
