Selection Process

ACEP’s Communications staff will recommend one candidate for the Spokesperson of the Year Award to ACEP’s Board of Directors who will then make the final decision. ACEP Communications Committee members are removed from the selection process because of potential conflicts of interest. Members of the Communications Committee can be considered for the award. The decision of the Board is final, and the Board reserves the right to make no award if there are no nominees of sufficient merit.
