|BASIC FUNCTION||Manages the exhibits and sponsorship sales program and serve as 1 of 2 sales relationship managers, driving all corporate support sales for ACEP educational meetings and national conference.|
Drive and secure sales to meet exhibit, ad, and sponsorship goals for ACEP’s largest annual conference with 8,000+ attendees and other smaller educational meetings.
Drive sales to year-round digital advertising and educational sponsorship opportunities.
Seek, develop and maintain strong relationships with health care companies, their agency marketing teams, other health care and industry organizations striving for a first in class vendor experience.
Follow trends in the health care and association conference arena in order to develop cutting edge marketing, exhibits and sponsorship strategies that work in a digital and physical event space.
Work closely with teammates to plan and execute yearly sales marketing strategies, exhibit floor plan design, vendor services contracts, and sales pace reports.
Plan for and manage onsite implementation of exhibit floor and exhibitor registration at, including onsite management of general contractor or other personal, as it pertains to showroom floor and sales office.
Work with the marketing, communications, and meetings staff to develop and manage exhibit marketing plans including developing exhibitor sales collateral, exhibitor service kits, exhibitor e-newsletters, and assigned program and promotional copy.
Recommend, develop and implement policies and procedures which govern the exhibit program.
Serve as one of the primary liaisons to the Exhibit Advisory Committee and Exhibits Task Force.
Participate in the ACEP Corporate Council and other sales driving meetings by helping with logistics and presenting on current ACEP opportunities.
Develop and manage budgets for exhibits, satellite symposia, product showcase, and assigned corporate support opportunities.
Work with Development Team to ensure that priority projects for the department such as invoicing, contracts, and database management are completed efficiently and effectively.
Maintain knowledge of ACCME Policies to ensure compliance in the planning, promotion, and implementation of exhibit programs and commercial support for assigned educational meetings.

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Three years experience in the meetings industry with a heavy focus on exhibit sales and implementation, project management, managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines with minimum supervision
Microsoft Office experience particularly with Excel
Ability to travel occasionally
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work long hours during key meetings
