Robert Blankenship, MD, FACEP

Dr. Blankenship has served in various academic and clinical emergency medicine roles. During his 11 years of active duty, he served as an Emergency Medicine Assistant Residency Director, Ultrasound Director, and the Transitional Year Program Director at Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Blankenship also developed the Army's First Tactical Ultrasound Course in 2007 after returning from Iraq, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for his service with 1-66 Armor, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.

Since leaving the Army in 2008, he has served as a medical director in two democratic groups and founded and managed two medical educational companies. He currently leads several Emergency Departments for BSMH in Cincinnati. In addition, he lectures on various topics both nationally and internationally. His primary passion is leadership, and he is an ICF-certified Executive Coach.
