COME ALL: Social Event and Annual Meeting at ACEP18

The ACEP Telehealth section has reached out to members of the other Sections and invited their section members to an informal educational / social gathering to join with our section members and other ACEP members to talk about telehealth and how it may impact physicians, providers and the care of patients.  It is intended for anyone who might have an interest in or benefit from learning more about telehealth and how it may help them, their practice and/or their patients.  The planned get together will be Monday afternoon, October 1, 2018 at 12:00PM.  We expect the meeting to be about an hour long (people may come and go as their schedules permit) but would be willing to continue longer if there is interest from the section members.  We ask all Telehealth Section Members who are available and interested in answering questions, talking about Telehealth and networking with fellow emergency physicians and providers to attend.  Date, Time and Location as follows:

Section Educational / Informative / Social Get Together

  • Monday, October 1, 2018
  • 12:00 PM
  • San Diego Convention Center
  • Room 17A

Please note, this is in addition to our Annual Telemedicine Section Meeting scheduled for:

Annual Telemedicine Section Meeting

  • Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 10 AM (Breakfast Starts at 7:45)
  • San Diego Convention Center
  • Mezzanine Level, Room 14B.

We believe telehealth would be of interest to the members of many ACEP Sections and their members and are excited to discuss its applications, how it is performed, various settings where it benefits patients and providers, reimbursement or any other questions their members might have.

We look forward to meeting interacting with our fellow ACEP members and engaging in interesting and valuable dialogue.  We hope this to be the first of many events interacting with our fellow emergency colleagues.  Please help represent our Telehealth Section for the get together, whether for the full meeting or just part of it; we would like to have a great Telehealth Section turnout to greet those interested in Telehealth and give them a wonderful experience with the wonderful members we have.  Each of us have useful, interesting and valuable information that those attending could benefit from.  Thanks for all you do for our section, our specialty and most of all, for our patients.
