Medical Student Delegates Program
The ACEP Educational Meetings Committee is looking for enthusiastic and responsible medical students to volunteer at ACEP26.
Benefits

- Upon request, a personal letter from the ACEP26 Program Committee Chair to your Dean of Student Affairs to acknowledge your contributions
- Educational Meetings Subcommittee Mentor and exposure to faculty
- An opportunity to meet some of the luminaries in emergency medicine
There are three different volunteer opportunities, but please only sign up for one opportunity per attendee:
Education/Section Meeting
- Be available for a one-hour training session on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 1 – 2 pm.
- Be available October 5 – 8 to attend the entire ACEP26. You will be assigned specific duties during certain times, but will be free to attend the rest of the conference.
- Attend assigned didactic sessions.
- Share educational pearls from didactic sessions on your personal social media channels.
- Facilitate transitions between lectures.
- Assist with AV needs.
- Be responsive and flexible to the needs of the Education Committee.
- Take notes at the assigned Section of Membership meetings.
Social Media
- Optional one-hour training session.
- Be available October 5 – 8 to attend the entire ACEP26.
- Share your social media handles with staff who will amplify them to attendees.
- Share what you are learning, who you are meeting, the after-course fun, and the whole experience from the perspective of a medical student.
- Post multiple times a day.
- Promote the ACEP26 conference on your social channels in advance.
- Use the #ACEP26 hashtag.
- Be responsive and flexible to the needs of the ACEP Social Media Ambassador team.
Research Forum
- Be available to attend a virtual training session in September.
- Be available October 5 – 7 to attend the Research Forum sessions. You will be assigned specific duties during set times, but will have time to attend the conference.
- Share pearls from the presentations on your personal social media channels.
- Assist presenters, panelists, and moderators during the abstract presentations.
- Assist with AV needs as needed.
- Be responsive and flexible to the needs of the Research Forum presenters and staff.
