ACEP embraces the importance of sustainability and acknowledge our environmental and social responsibility.
We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our events and having a positive social impact on our host and member communities as we focus on healthy lives.
As we begin our journey, we ask you to partner with us to focus on the following areas:
The Moscone Convention Center has the lowest carbon footprint of all centers in North America.
If you’re close, drive to ACEP22. If you’re able, walk to the Convention Center from your hotel.
San Francisco’s Mandatory Recycling and Composting Ordinance requires everyone to properly separate recyclables and compostables and keep them out of the landfill using a color-coded system.
Be sure to use the Moscone Convention Center ‘zero waste stations’ located in all public spaces.
15 million gallons of water will be recovered annually by the Moscone Convention Center for reuse in landscaping and street cleaning.
Help us by not letting the water run extra in your hotel room, i.e., when brushing your teeth.
Responsible Paper Usage
ACEP22 Daily News is now email only. Great quality. Less waste.
Print and bring only the absolutely necessary materials.
Local, Sustainable Foods
At the Moscone Convention Center, local sustainable food sources are utilized.
When dining out in San Francisco, try to focus on restaurants that use more locally sourced food.
Recycle & Reuse
San Francisco has many water stations at the airport, hotels, and more to offer alternatives to plastic bottles.
Bring a reusable water bottle to cut down on disposable plastic.
