Mohsen Saidinejad

MD, MS, MBA, FAAP, FACEP

Dr. Saidinejad is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He also serves as the director for the Institute for Health Services and Outcomes Research at the Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor UCLA.

He is a member of the AAP Committee on Pediatric Emergency Medicine, as well as the member of the executive core of the EMS for Children Innovation and Improvement Center (EIIC), and domain co-lead for the Knowledge, Education, and Communication Core of the Pediatric pandemic Network, both of which are federally funded by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Dr. Saidinejad is an avid educator with special interest in emergency department aftercare, vulnerable patients, and mental health. He is the lead author for the upcoming ACEP/AAP/ENA joint policy statement on the role of the emergency physicians in the management of mental and behavioral health emergencies.
