Get “closest to the boards” with a subscription to PEER
Transform how you learn and study with a web-based PEER subscription and earn CME credit as you go. Subscribe to PEER now and help yourself to the practice and study experience that’s closest to the real thing. Our editors and authors have been taking EM board exams and helping you with yours for more than 30 years. And you know the value of experience. They’ve learned the subtleties and nuances of item writing so well that you’ll swear you saw PEER questions on the board exam. And the literature says it … there’s no better way to get ready to take a test than to practice taking a test.
I have used the PEER series for both my initial board certification and my ConCert. I have never been a great test taker, but the practice, layout, and questions helped me feel ready for test day. PEER is an integral tool in the preparation process.- Ryan Stanton, MD, FACEP
How does it work?
PEER is web-based, so you’ll need an Internet connection. You can subscribe online, or you can call 844-381-0911.
In a few minutes, you’ll get an email telling you your subscription is active.
When you log in, you’ll set up your profile and decide how you’ll use PEER — do you want to explore and practice on your own, or do you want to follow the “PEER Path” to get through all the content before your exam date? You can change your mind anytime.
After that, you’ll take the Pretest (unless you want to take it now, of course, for free). Your results will show your strengths and weaknesses, and that will guide your study plan.
Then from that point on, you’ll create your own tests or take the tests PEER Path set up for you according to a schedule — or both. You’ll read and study the detailed answer explanations, and you’ll watch your scores improve.
Every time you pass a practice test, you’ll claim CME credit — up to 150 for a 1-year subscription.
Anytime you want to see how you might do on the real thing, you can take the PEER SIM Test — a timed, two-part exam designed to mimic the ConCert exam.
But the key is … you can take an unlimited number of tests in an unlimited number of configurations to help you get ready for the big day. And since PEER is a web-based subscription, you can use it on any connected device — it’s not tied to an app on your phone or tablet.
What’s included in the subscription?
