Taryn Taylor, MD, FACEP

Section Editor, PEERprep for Physicians and PEERprep for Programs

Taryn Taylor, MD, FACEP, has served as a section editor for PEERprep for Physicians and PEERprep for Programs since 2021. Dr. Taylor is an assistant professor of pediatric emergency medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, where she also serves as codirector of the medical education track and the Woodruff Health Educators Teaching Fellowship. Dr. Taylor earned her doctor of medicine degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and completed the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She earned her Masters of Education from the University of Cincinnati in 2016.

Dr. Taylor has won both institutional and regional awards for her dedication and innovation as a medical educator. She has actively served in leadership roles within ACEP, including chairing the Pediatric Section for the 2019-2021 term. Dr. Taylor has a special interest in promoting the professional development of underrepresented minorities in medicine.
