Tina Choudhri, MD, FACEP

Associate Editor-in-Chief, PEERprep for Physicians and PEERprep for Programs

Tina Choudhri, MD, FACEP, has served as associate editor-in-chief for PEERprep for Physicians and PEERprep for Programs since 2021. She served as a senior content editor for PEER (Physician's Evaluation and Educational Review in Emergency Medicine) from 2018 through 2020 and as a content contributor on the PEER Editorial Board from 2015 through 2017. Dr. Choudhri currently serves as faculty and an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital and as an adjunct clinical instructor for the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She earned her doctor of medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her residency training at George Washington University Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Washington, DC, where she served as chief resident in her final year. Prior to moving to Ann Arbor, Dr. Choudhri was an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at George Washington University, where she also served as associate residency director and led several projects centered on residency and medical student curricular advancements.

Dr. Choudhri has taught courses on clinical skills and reasoning to medical students and has lectured nationally on the process of residency selection, as well as on other educational and clinical topics, at CORD Academic Assembly, ACEP Scientific Assembly, the ACGME Educational Conference, and the NRMP Transition to Residency Conference. She received an award in recognition of her teaching in 2016.
