Dr. Furiato is the Assistant Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency at Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Florida. At Brandon, he successfully started an Opioid Sparing Pain Protocol, resulting in a decrease of more than 50% of opioid ordering and administration. He also started a Medication for Addiction Treatment Protocol with seamless outpatient warm-handoff referrals.
