How did the number of female medical school graduates grow from less than 10% in the 1970s to over 50% in the 2020s? Can we assume this achievement will be sustained as the world shifts so dramatically around us? This lecture will point out the landmark changes that led to this surge of women in medicine and what steps might need to be taken to assure we stay there.
