Jailyn Avila

MD, RDMS

Dr. Avila is the Associate Ultrasound Director, Co-Ultrasound Fellowship Director, and Core Faculty for UHS SoCal MEC Emergency Medicine Residency in Temecula, California. She is Co-Creator of Core Ultrasound and was awarded an ACEP National Faculty Teaching Award in 2025.  She currently lives in San Diego with her wife and three children.
