Dr. David Friedenson, MD, FACEP is the Chief Medical Officer for Reventics, an end-to-end coding, documentation improvement, billing and reimbursement company. He is an emergency physician based in Boulder, Colorado and is the Past Chair of the ACEP Coding and Nomenclature Committee. He got his start in the coding and documentation world as the compliance officer and peer review chair for a multispecialty group in Colorado.

Dr. Friedenson sits on several national EDPMA and ACEP task forces on Medicaid, Medicare, bad payor behavior, surprise medical billing and other reimbursement issues. He has spoken at regional and national conferences on documentation, coding, document improvement and reimbursement related topics. Dr. Friedenson spends much of his spare time hiking and snowboarding with his wife and daughters around Colorado and the West.
