A 9 year-old male presents to the ED with pain and discomfort in his right arm after ran into a door at school earlier this morning. He can move his arm, but feels that his elbow is extremely painful, especially when he flexes it. He also feels a pain and heaviness throughout his upper arm. He does not complain of any numbness, tingling, or weakness in the affected arm. He also has no bruising or swelling of the affected arm. The patient has no significant past medical history, and is otherwise healthy.
