Ultrasound Director Opportunity in South Carolina  

Ultrasound Director

Grand Strand Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Director to assist in the implementation of a newly approved Emergency Medicine Residency Program with 12 residents per year. The sponsoring institution already has ACGME accredited programs in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Family Medicine, and Transitional Year. It is a core faculty position with appointments at the University of South Carolina. There are excellent opportunities for career and financial progression. Completion of Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship or equivalent is a requirement. (Reimbursement > $420k/ year)

Grand Strand Medical Center is a 301-bed, 93,000-annual-volume, acute care hospital committed to quality patient care in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It is the busiest Trauma Center in South Carolina, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center. South Strand Medical Center is a department of Grand Strand Medical Center, and this free-standing ED is located in South Myrtle Beach about 13 miles south of the Hospital’s main campus. Over the next 18 months, 60+ beds will be added to GSMC, and within 2 years we will be starting Anesthesia and Orthopedic residencies.
