"[State] is in dire straits. I work at a 50-bed ED. We typically have 30+ patients boarding on average. This make it very difficult to see new patients and creates a backlog of typically 30-60 patients in the waiting room. This increases the number of patients left without being seen and potentially serious missed treatment opportunities."
