Ken Milne, MD, to Speak at CALS
Ken Milne, MD, Chair of the ACEP Rural Section, will be the keynote speaker at the Fourth CALS (Comprehensive Advanced Life Support) Conference on Rural Emergency Care in St Paul, Minnesota on September 29, 2017.
Dr. Milne is an emergency physician in Exeter, Ontario, Canada, and creator of the popular podcast and blog The Skeptics’ Guide to Emergency Medicine (www.TheSGEM.com).
The CALS Program, located on the campus of the University of Minnesota, provides comprehensive training in all areas of emergency medical care to health care teams across rural America and around the world.
Previous CALS Conferences have featured speakers with ties to ACEP, notably John Rogers, MD, currently chair of the ACEP Board of Directors; and Kevin Klauer, DO, EJD, ACEP Board Member and Editor of ACEP Now. In other areas as well CALS has had a close relationship with ACEP, including a partnership to conduct the first CALS Courses in Montana.
