About your co-hosts:

Dr. Alicia Mikolaycik Gonzalez completed her EM residency at University of California San Francisco – Fresno in 2017 and a Healthcare Leadership & Administration Fellowship in 2018 with Vituity. Alicia was the President of EMRA in 2017, and currently serves as a member of the CalACEP Board of Directors. In addition to her clinical EM practice in San Diego & Brawley, CA, Alicia works as an Implementation Leader and the Director of Clinical Training for the CA Bridge Program. She loves travel adventures, running, and all things Trader Joe's.

Dr. Anna Yap completed her EM Residency in 2022 and an Administration and Health Equity fellowship in 2023 both at the University of California, Los Angeles - Olive View. She currently serves as faculty and Health Policy Fellowship Director at the University of California, Davis Emergency Medicine Program. A typhoon of passion, she has used her multidisciplinary background in marketing, education, and community building with medicine to advocate for patients and physicians since day one of medical school. In her “free” time, she enjoys exploring farmer’s markets, crocheting, improvised cooking, gaming, and absolutely not getting out of bed.
