If you're a board-certified emergency physician and you want to maintain your ABEM certification, you must participate in ABEM's four-component Emergency Medicine Continuous Certification program.
To complete the second component of the program, Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment (LLSA), you must take the annual tests, which are based on selected readings from the emergency medicine literature, and achieve a passing grade of 85% or better. ABEM posts each year's reading list on its Web site.
The LLSA Resource Center is your gateway to information that will help you get ready to take your annual LLSA tests. Some of the resources listed are available to anyone, and some are available only to ACEP members, as listed below.
If you're an ACEP member, you may access the members-only resources by signing in when prompted.
If you're not an ACEP member, find out how to become one today!
If you have questions, please send an e-mail to LLSAResourceCenter@acep.org.
