International Ambassador Program

The purpose of this program is to provide ACEP leaders and staff with access to a special network of internationally-oriented member experts who can provide advice and information on issues pertaining to the progress and status of emergency medicine in their assigned countries, and to serve as official representatives of the College to those countries. Shown below is the current roster of ACEP International Ambassadors. These individuals provide a unique contribution to this program and are to be congratulated and recognized for their promotion of the global growth and success of our specialty.

If you are interested in becoming an ACEP International Ambassador, please review our Ambassador Program Information which contains information on the qualifications, duties, responsibilities, and appointment process.

If you meet the qualifications and are interested in submitting an application, please submit the following information to ACEP’s International Relations Manager:

Formal letter of interest requesting consideration for appointment to include information on the following areas:

• History/involvement (past work/experience)
• Recent activities (on the ground) in the country of interest (within the past two years)
• Existing/established relationships/contacts
• Ties to developing emergency medicine
• Fluency/familiarity with primary language
• Disclosure statement to include disclosures for all organization/company affiliations with ties to or operating within the country/region of interest as well as family political ties
